Last night was a family dinner in City Not Too Far From Here.  We left, Father, Soccer Sister, and I, in the early evening and came back late.  As we started the drive home the moon was just rising.  I had plenty of time on the drive home to rmember just how much fun it is to watch the moon.

I’d forgotten all
the colors of the moon:
the bright orange globe
that hangs just above the horizon;
the softer yellow contours
of the man hidden there;
and the silvery gleam
of the full moon
crisply staring back at me.
